The Anycubic Kobra S1 ACE 2 Pro Combo represents Anycubic’s next-generation enclosed desktop 3D printing system. By pairing the high-speed, fully enclosed Kobra S1 CoreXY printer with the upgraded ACE 2 Pro multi-material engine, this system delivers automated multi-color printing, active filament conditioning, and reliable material feeding in a single integrated setup.
Key Features:
- Enclosed High-Speed CoreXY Architecture: Built around a rigid CoreXY frame using dual X/Y linear rods and a tri-post Z-axis system, enabling acceleration up to 20,000 mm/s² and print speeds reaching 600 mm/s. The dark tint enclosure maintains internal temperatures for warp-prone plastics.
- Second-Gen ACE 2 Pro Integration: Features four independent brushless motors (one per spool drive), an alumina ceramic feeding port, and an automated feed-and-retract buffer mechanism that slashes filament swap times down to ~56 seconds per change.
- 65°C Active Thermal Drying: The ACE 2 Pro actively heats and circulates air up to 65°C while printing. Integrated moisture/temperature sensors pair with automated solenoid exhaust vents and silicone seals to actively vent humidity away from engineering filaments like ABS, ASA, and PETG.
- Quick-Release 320°C Hotend: Equipped with an upgraded all-metal 320°C hotend designed for toolless, quick swaps. It handles abrasive engineering filaments, high-flow material, and accommodates nozzle sizes from 0.25 mm to 0.8 mm.
- Automated LeviQ 3.0 Calibration: Fully automates bed leveling, physical Z-offset determination, resonance compensation (input shaping), and dynamic pressure advance flow calibration.
- Quiet-Operation Mode: Operates as low as 44 dB in quiet printing mode and <48 dB during standard multi-color operation.
- Smart AI & Remote Monitoring: Includes a built-in HD camera supporting 480p live view, AI-driven "spaghetti" failure detection, skip-object functions, and real-time filament runout/entanglement sensing.

Pro Tip: Run the ACE 2 Pro drying cycle on hygroscopic filaments like PETG or TPU for 2–3 hours before starting complex multi-color prints. Maintaining dried spools inside the unit drastically reduces stringing, surface blemishes, and retraction jams during color transitions.
