- Active Belt Tensioning: Timing belts may get loose over time, leading to poor print quality and accuracy. On the K2 Plus, the belt tension is checked and rigged actively by a pressure sensor instead of manually. Now, belt tensioning is a thing you can forget about.
- Automated Filament Cutter & Run-out Sensor: The cutter has a durable steel blade and can be pulled back to position by a magnet, able to sustain constant filament switches. Nearly zero distance from the nozzle. It tells you to replace the filament when only about one inch is left. There will be little waste.
- Strain Gauge for Leveling: Highly sensitive for probing the bed. It makes leveling compensation much more precisie than sensors embedded in the heatbed.
- High-flow Hotend & Clog-free & Quick-swap Nozzle: 100W heater, the flow rate of ABS at 280°C can reach 40mm³/s. The tri-metal nozzle curbs heat creep effectively for minimal clogs, and the integrated nozzle design and the magnetic front cover make thee nozzle swap a breeze.
- Actively Heated Chamber: Creating a thermostatic environment up to 60°C. Essential to forge strong prints in ASA, PPA and other high-end materials. 50°C chamber temperature for PATCH-CF; 60°C chamber tempperature for ABS, ASA and PPS.
- Enhanced Cooling System: The part cooling airflow is nearly doubled as two auxiliary cooling fans are installed on the left and right sides of the chamber. The shapes and styles of your model will be set before any stringing and warping can happen.
