Step-by-Step: How to Safely Change Your Blade
- Unlock the Collet: Twist the rear metal handle counter-clockwise to open the internal clamping jaws at the front of the knife.
- Remove safely: Carefully grasp the dull blade near its flat base (avoiding the sharp tip) and slide it straight out of the slot. Dispose of it safely.
- Insert Fresh Edge: Slide a new #11 blade fully into the front holder until it sits flush and completely seated inside the internal chuck.
- Lock It Down: Twist the handle firmly clockwise until the jaw clamps grip the blade securely. Give it a gentle tap to ensure zero wobble.
