Master Spool Compatibility

The refill coil is optimized for an internal diameter of approximately 55mm to 60mm and a width of roughly 60mm. This allows it to bridge the gap between several major brands:

• Bambu Lab Reusable Spools: Fully Compatible. The Creality refill fits the standard Bambu Lab reusable spool perfectly. Since Bambu's system is designed for a similar inner core diameter, you can easily slide the CR-PETG coil onto a Bambu spool and lock it in place.
• SUNLU Master Spools: Fully Compatible. Creality refills are cross-compatible with SUNLU’s 1kg reusable spool systems (including the 3rd Gen spools). The internal alignment notches typically line up, ensuring the filament doesn't slip during high-speed printing.
• eSUN eSpools: Compatible. Similar to the SUNLU design, eSUN’s reusable spools accommodate the Creality coil dimensions without issue.
• Custom / Printed Spools: If you have printed your own "MasterSpool" (from sites like Thingiverse or Printables), the CR-PETG refill is designed to fit the standard 1kg specifications used by the open-source community.

Refill Installation Tips:

To ensure a smooth transition between different spool brands:

1. Don't Cut the Ties Early: Always place the filament coil onto the reusable spool and lock the two halves together before cutting the plastic binding straps. This prevents the "birds-nest" effect.
2. Check the Notch: Most reusable spools (including Bambu and Sunlu) have a small notch on the inner hub. Align the starting end of the filament or the coil's internal bend with this notch to ensure the filament sits flush.
3. Labeling: Since refills don't come with pre-attached side labels, we recommend using a piece of masking tape to note the material (PETG) and printing temperatures (230-250°C) on your Sunlu or Bambu spool for future reference.
