Creality CFS PTFE Tube Accessory Kit
This is the official maintenance and replacement kit for the Creality Filament System (CFS). Unlike standard universal kits, this package contains precision-cut lengths of 2.5mm ID (Inner Diameter) tubing specifically measured to fit the internal paths from the CFS feeder to the hub, buffer, and the K2 Plus extruder.
Why the 2.5mm Inner Diameter Matters:
Standard PTFE tubes usually have a 1.9mm or 2.0mm ID. The CFS kit uses a wider 2.5mm ID to:
- Reduce Friction: Essential for the long travel distances in a multi-material setup.
- Reliable Loading / Unloading: Allows filament tips (which can sometimes slightly swell during retraction) to pass through the hub and buffer without jamming.
What’s Included in the Kit:
The 4004200027 kit provides a full refresh for your multi-color setup with 11 pre-cut tubes specifically measured for the following functions:
- Four 60mm Tubes: Used for the Filament Inlets (Feeder to Hub).
- Two 200mm Tubes: Designed for the Inner Channels (Inlet to Hub outlet - Channels 2 & 3).
- Two 230mm Tubes: Designed for the Outer Channels (Inlet to Hub outlet - Channels 1 & 4).
- One 300mm Tube: Connects the Buffer to the K2 Plus machine inlet.
- One 400mm Tube: Connects the Hub outlet to the Buffer.
- One 680mm Tube: The main guide tube (Machine inlet to Extruder).
Key Benefits:
- Precision Fit: No measuring or cutting required. Each tube is sized to prevent excess slack or tension in the drag chain.
- Wear Resistance: Specifically designed to withstand the high frequency of filament retractions and swaps characteristic of multi-color printing.
- Optimized for High Speed: Maintains a smooth path for the K2 Plus’s high-velocity extrusion system.
Compatibility:
- Main System: Creality CFS (Multi-material station).
- Printers: Primarily the K2 Plus, but also used for K1 Series printers (K1, K1C, K1 Max) that have been upgraded with the CFS kit and Unicorn hotend.
Maintenance Note: Creality recommends checking these tubes every 30 days if printing abrasive filaments (like Carbon Fiber) and replacing the main path tubes every 2–3 months for optimal performance.
Together, Layer by Layer!
