Fiberon™ PET-GF15: Industrial Strength, Everyday Reliability!
Fiberon™ PET-GF15 by Polymaker is a 15% glass-fiber reinforced PET filament engineered to bridge the gap between hobbyist ease-of-use and industrial-grade performance. It offers significantly higher stiffness, heat resistance, and dimensional stability compared to standard PETG, making it the ideal choice for functional, load-bearing parts.Despite its rugged nature, PET-GF15 is designed for a smooth printing experience, featuring an exceptional surface finish that hides layer lines and is fully compatible with multi-material systems like the Bambu Lab AMS.
Key Features:
- 15% Glass Fiber Reinforcement: Significantly boosts rigidity and structural integrity.
- High Heat Resistance: Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 133°C after annealing.
- Exceptional Dimensional Stability: Minimal warping and shrinking ($<0.5\%$ after annealing), perfect for large-scale functional prints.
- Premium Surface Finish: Produces a professional, matte-texture finish with reduced visible layering.
- Broad Compatibility: Engineered to be tough but not brittle, making it safe for use in the Bambu Lab AMS and other high-speed motion systems.
- High-Speed Ready: Capable of printing at speeds up to 250 mm/s with the right hardware.
Specifications:

- Carbon Fiber Content: 15%
- Tensile Strength: 104 MPa
- Tensile Modulus (X-Y): 4100 MPa
- Heat Deflection Temperature: 133.7°C (Annealed) / 87°C (Unannealed)

Recommended Drying Settings:
- Regular Oven: 100˚C for 10h
- PolyDryer: Level 3 for 18h (PolyDryer™)
- Storage: Keep in a sealed bag or dry box with desiccant. Aim for <20% relative humidity.
Annealing Settings:
- 120˚ for 16h
Applications:
- Functional Prototyping: Create robust prototypes that accurately represent the final product.
- Tooling: Produce strong and durable jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing aids.
- End-Use Parts: Manufacture high-performance components for automotive, aerospace, industrial, and consumer applications.
- Custom Designs: Bring your intricate and demanding designs to life with exceptional detail and precision.
Printing Tips:
- Nozzle Requirements: Due to the abrasive nature of glass fiber, a hardened steel or ruby nozzle is mandatory. Standard brass nozzles will wear out within hours.
- Bed Adhesion: Adheres strongly to textured PEI. To prevent damage to your plate, use a release agent (Magigoo, glue stick) and wait for the plate to cool completely to room temperature before removal.
- Enclosure: While it can be printed on open-frame printers for small parts, an enclosed chamber is highly recommended for larger industrial components to ensure thermal stability.
- Annealing (Optional): To reach the maximum heat resistance (133°C), anneal your parts at 120°C for 16 hours.
