Green Stuff World Liquid Super Glue - 20g

High-performance liquid super glue designed to bond a wide range of materials in 5 to 10 seconds. Commonly known as cyanoacrylate (CA) glue, this single-component adhesive reacts quickly with the moisture in the air to form an incredibly strong, reliable bond. It features a thin viscosity that flows easily by capillary action, allowing it to penetrate deep into tight joints and perfectly fitting parts. The integrated precision nozzle applicator ensures accurate placement and helps prevent the bottle from drying out between projects.

Technical Specifications:

  • Type: Cyanoacrylate single-component liquid adhesive (Super Glue)
  • Content: 20 g
  • Viscosity: Liquid - flows by capillary action
  • Curing Time: 5 -10 seconds
  • Compatible Materials: Plastic, resin, metal, cork, wood, foam, rubber, ceramics
  • Application: Precision nozzle applicator integrated into the bottle

This is for you if...

  • You assemble resin, metal, or multi-material miniatures and need a versatile adhesive that sets fast.
  • Your parts fit together perfectly and you need a thin adhesive that penetrates deep into the joints via capillary action.
  • You want more value for your money compared to the small 3g to 5g tubes from standard hobby brands.
  • You build scenery or terrain and need to glue diverse materials like cork, wood, foam, or ceramics.
  • You use GSW interchangeable tips, allowing the bottle to remain open during work sessions without drying out.

This is NOT for you if...

  • You need to fill gaps or irregular joints — for those projects, the Gel version is recommended as it does not run and has gap-filling properties.
  • You only assemble standard plastic model kits and prefer a specialized liquid solvent plastic cement that fuses the plastic parts together.
  • You are assembling heavy MDF structures or furniture.
  • You need a specialized adhesive for perfectly clear, transparent materials.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the difference between this and the Gel version?

The Liquid version flows via capillary action and penetrates tight joints, making it ideal for parts that fit together perfectly. The Gel version does not drip, fills small gaps, and gives you slightly more time to reposition your parts. For standard miniature assembly, the liquid version is usually more versatile.

How do I prevent the bottle from drying out once opened?

Clean the nozzle after every use and store it tightly closed in a cool place. Avoid using the tip to push materials you are gluing, as this can cause clogs. Store the bottle away from cyanoacrylate accelerator, as the fumes from the activator can harden the glue inside the bottle.

Is this the same as standard hardware store super glue?

It is essentially the same chemical compound (cyanoacrylate). However, this version features a precision nozzle specifically designed for fine modeling work, and the price per gram offers much better value than standard hardware store brands.

Can it be sanded once dry?

Yes. Once fully cured, it can be sanded with fine-grit sandpaper. This is highly useful for cleanly removing excess glue from visible joints before priming.

Does super glue work on metal miniatures?

Yes, it works exceptionally well on metal and resin. For exceptionally large or heavy metal parts, pinning the joint is recommended to reinforce the bond.

How do I remove cyanoacrylate from skin?

You can use a specialized cyanoacrylate remover. If you do not have one, soak the area in warm, soapy water, apply acetone-based nail polish remover, and gently peel or scrape the glue away once softened.
