Phaetus Conch M4 EndCoat Hotend - Bambu A1 / A1 mini
Phaetus Conch M4 EndCoat Hotend - Bambu A1 / A1 mini
PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
The Phaetus Conch Hotend M4 Series is a high-flow, heavy-duty hotend upgrade designed for the Bambu Lab A1 and A1 mini. Featuring a replaceable M4 EndCoat coated hardened steel nozzle (HV3300 hardness), this hotend delivers up to 2.5 times longer service life than stock hardened steel nozzles. Its copper-coated heater block and titanium alloy heat break support volumetric flow rates up to 30 mm³/s without thermal creep or heat degradation.
KEY FEATURES:
- Replaceable M4 Nozzle System: Modular M4 threaded nozzle design allows simple nozzle tip replacements (0.2mm to 0.8mm) without replacing the entire hotend assembly.
- EndCoat Coating (HV3300): Premium surface treatment provides 2.5x the lifespan of standard hardened steel, handling carbon fiber, glass fiber, metal, and glow-in-the-dark filaments.
- Titanium Alloy Heat Break: Low thermal conductivity prevents heat creep while offering strong mechanical stability.
- High Volumetric Flow: Copper alloy heat block and elongated melt zone support flow rates up to 30 mm³/s at temperatures up to 320°C.
- Rigid Kinematic Coupling: Patented mounting framework protects the delicate heat break against nozzle crashes and bed impact.

PRO TIP:
The Phaetus Conch M4 for the A1 series is supplied without the heating cartridge and thermistor. Transfer your stock Bambu A1 heating pad and thermistor assembly carefully, ensuring the retaining clip is securely seated. When swapping M4 EndCoat nozzles, perform final torque tightening while heated to 250°C to prevent filament leaks.
