PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
The Phaetus Conch Hotend M4 Series for H2D is a high-flow, heavy-duty hotend upgrade designed for Bambu Lab H2 series machines (H2D, H2S) and compatible A1 printers. Equipped with a replaceable M4 EndCoat coated hardened steel nozzle (HV3300 hardness rating), this hotend provides up to 2.5 times longer service life than stock hardened steel nozzles. Its copper-coated heater block and titanium alloy heat break support high volumetric flow rates up to 320°C without heat creep.
KEY FEATURES:
- Replaceable M4 Nozzle Architecture: Utilizes removable M4 threaded EndCoat nozzles for fast size changes (0.2mm to 0.8mm) without replacing the entire hotend.
- EndCoat Coating (HV3300): Specialized surface plating delivers maximum wear resistance against carbon fiber, glass fiber, metal, and glow-in-the-dark composite filaments.
- High Volumetric Flow: Copper-coated heat block and extended melt zone support flow rates up to 30–50 mm³/s at temperatures up to 320°C.
- Titanium Alloy Heat Break: Low thermal conductivity prevents heat creep while maintaining mechanical strength during high-speed printing.
- Rigid Kinematic Structure: Features Phaetus's patented coupling system to protect the heat break against accidental impacts and nozzle crashes.

PRO TIP:
Because the M4 EndCoat nozzle is removable, perform final nozzle tightening while the hotend is heated to approximately 250°C to prevent filament oozing through the threads during high-temperature printing.
