Phaetus Conch Plus SiC Hotend - Bambu P1 / P1S
Phaetus Conch Plus SiC High-Flow Hotend for Bambu Lab P1P / P1S (Ceramic Heater & Thermistor included)
PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
The Phaetus Conch Hotend Plus SiC Series (With Heater & Thermistor) is a complete, pre-assembled drop-in upgrade engineered specifically for the Bambu Lab P1P and P1S. Featuring an integrated Silicon Carbide (SiC) nozzle with a Mohs hardness of 9.8 and pre-installed P1-series thermal electronics, this hotend delivers maximum wear resistance and high volumetric flow without needing to transfer delicate stock heating elements or sensors.
KEY FEATURES:
- Pre-Assembled for P1 Series: Factory-installed ceramic heater cartridge and thermistor sensor configured specifically for P1P and P1S mainboard connectors allow for immediate plug-and-play installation.
- Extreme Hardness SiC Nozzle: Silicon Carbide material (Mohs 9.8) provides up to double the wear resistance of standard hardened steel, making it ideal for continuous printing with carbon fiber, glass fiber, wood, metal, and glow-in-the-dark filaments.
- EndCoat Treated Heat Break: Features an EndCoat surface treatment combined with a copper-coated heater block for high thermal efficiency and protection against heat creep.
- Kinematic Coupling Design: Rigid structural framework protects the thin-walled heat break from bending or snapping during accidental bed levels or nozzle impacts.
- High Volumetric Flow: Designed to maintain consistent extrusion at flow rates up to 35 mm³/s and operating temperatures up to 320°C.
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Compatible Printers: Bambu Lab P1P / Bambu Lab P1S
- Included Electronics: 24V Ceramic Heating Element & High-Precision Thermistor (P1 Series Spec)
- Thermal Conductivity: Up to 170 W/m·K
- Maximum Printing Temperature: 320°C
- Maximum Volumetric Flow: 35 mm³/s
- Filament Diameter: 1.75 mm
- Compatible Materials: PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, PC, PA, Carbon Fiber Composites (PA-CF, PET-CF), Glass Fiber Composites (PA-GF), Fillamentum / Abrasives
PRO TIP:
The thermistor connection on the Bambu Lab P1 series uses a distinct connector profile compared to the X1 series. Ensure you keep the wiring harness neatly clipped along the toolhead assembly using the stock routing channels to prevent wire strain during high-speed travel movements.
