Super Lube Multi-Purpose Synthetic Oil ISO 68 – 118ml

Pure, Premium Synthetic Lubrication for Maximum Precision

Keep your 3D printer and precision mechanical equipment operating at peak performance with Super Lube Multi-Purpose Synthetic Oil (ISO 68). This pure, premium synthetic oil is specially engineered for motion systems that require a crystal-clear, liquid lubricant with exceptionally low rolling resistance. Because this formula is completely free of solid additives (like PTFE), it is the ultimate choice for applications where a flawless, transparent oil film is required.

Thanks to its highly stable ISO 68 viscosity, this oil offers the perfect balance: it is fluid enough to easily penetrate the tightest bearings and mechanical tolerances, yet robust enough to form a long-lasting, wear-resistant protective layer. It is ideal for high-speed CoreXY machines, CNC guides, and precision shafts.

Key Features & Benefits:

  • Optimal ISO 68 Viscosity: A perfectly balanced, lightweight fluidity that keeps mechanical resistance to an absolute minimum. This helps stepper motors run smoothly without skipped steps or ringing at high print speeds.

  • 100% Pure & Clear: Contains no solid particles or PTFE powders. This guarantees a completely transparent lubrication barrier and prevents any powder residue build-up in ultra-precise bearing systems over time.

  • Safe for Plastics & Rubbers: Fully compatible with all common materials found around 3D printers, such as PLA, PETG, ABS, Nylon, polycarbonate wheels, and rubber timing belts. It will not degrade or cause polymers to swell.

  • Excellent Moisture Displacement & Rust Protection: Coats steel linear shafts and rods in an active, microscopic barrier. This shields your valuable hardware effectively against surface rust caused by workshop humidity.

  • Thermally Stable: The oil will not run, bleed, or thin out under the radiant heat of intensively heated print beds or inside enclosed build chambers.

Best Used For in 3D Printing & CNC:

  • Linear Shafts & Smooth Rods: Keeps traditional linear ball bearings (like LM8UU) or polymer bearings gliding silently and fluidly.

  • High-Speed Guide Systems: Perfect for CNC routers, laser engravers, and high-velocity 3D printers where minimizing viscous drag is critical.

  • Fine Mechanics & Extruders: Excellent for lubricating small internal bearings, gear shafts, and idler pulleys within the filament drive assembly.

Technical Specifications:

  • Base Fluid Type: Pure Premium Synthetic Polyalphaolefin (PAO) for maximum thermal and mechanical stability.

  • Viscosity Grade: ISO 68 (Lightweight/medium fluid machine oil).

  • Operating Temperature Range: Delivers reliable performance across extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C up to a scorching +260°C.

  • Appearance and Color: Completely clear and transparent liquid.

  • NLGI Consistency Grade: Not Applicable (This is a free-flowing fluid oil, not a thickened grease).

  • Safety Certifications: NSF Registered (Class H1) – Approved for incidental food contact. This makes it an exceptionally clean and safe product for home, office, and professional workshops.

  • Electrical Properties: Excellent dielectric strength; 100% non-conductive and completely safe to use near stepper motors, wiring, and mainboards.

Pro Maintenance:

Always thoroughly clean your shafts or linear guides with a high-quality degreaser (like Isopropyl Alcohol / IPA) to remove old dirt and dust before lubricating. Apply a few drops of Super Lube ISO 68 oil, then manually slide the print head back and forth a few times to evenly distribute the oil across the entire guiding surface!
